DarkPassage defeated c5 2-0 in the third-place decider match at the WESG Africa & ME Regional Finals, booking their attendance to the WESG Finals (16-7 on Cobblestone and 16-4 on Dust2). The best-of-three series started out on Cobblestone with DarkPassage on the CT-side. The Turks had a successful retake in the pistol round but lost the third round in which Chosen5 had an early weapon buy. Chosen5 were down 1-6 when they went on a four round winning streak thanks to Issa "ISSAA" Murad who was the only one stepping up to the challenge. DarkPassage led 9-6 at halftime. The Jordanian side secured the second half pistol round with a 3vs5 victory but DarkPassage went on a seven round streak to finish the map 16-7. Just like in Cobblestone DarkPassage were on the CT-side to kick things off and Buğra "Calyx" Arkın's team won the pistol and first weapon rounds with ease, losing only four players in four rounds. Chosen5 won four rounds in the later stages of the half as they trailed 4-11. Bora "Maiko" Igci and Özgür "woxic" Eker clutched a 2vs4 in the pistol round, essentially putting an end to Chosen5's comeback hopes. DarkPassage closed out the map 16-4 and won the series 2-0, finishing the tournament in the third place. WESG 2016 Africa & Middle East Regional FinalsBest of 3
